Floppy Disk Cube Holder

Posted in Uncategorized by recraftinggeek on October 10, 2011

As I was cleaning out my garage for a garage sale, I found a handful of floppy disks, and I loved how they were all the same color. I couldn’t bring myself to throw them away, so I decided to glue them together into a cube-like structure.

Materials: 5 Floppy Disks, hot glue, clear photo corners and 5 of your favorite pictures.

Simply outline the edges of the floppy disk with hot glue and stick them together to form a cube with the top left open. Make sure each floppy disk’s metal edge is facing down. Once that has dried, use the top half for your picture of choice.  To do this and allow for photo change later in life, use the clear photo corners and fit your picture accordingly. 🙂

This is a fun and cute way to keep your old floppy disks from ending up in the landfills.

Stay Green 🙂
